EL LEGADO DE DROYSEN: RELACIONES CULTURALES EN LA HISTORIOGRAFÍA DEL PERIODO HELENÍSTICO

Las dudas actuales sobre la capacidad analítica del concepto de «Periodo helenístico» se puede remontar a la forma en que J.G. Droysen concibió el helenismo primeramente a partir del cambio cultural que emergió del encuentro de griegos y no griegos. Unir la identidad del periodo a una concepción particular de las relaciones culturales supuso que cualquier variación en estas últimas afectara nuestra comprensión del primero. El artículo se propone estudiar tres momentos en que la historiografía redefinió el modo de aproximarse a dichas relaciones y el modo en que esto afectó al campo de estudios en sí.
