Author Guidelines

Submissions to Grecorromana. Revista Chilena de Estudios Clásicos must be original and unpublished, with the exception of sources or new translations; however, in both cases, they must not be under review by other journals or publication platforms. All submitted articles will undergo a blind peer review by external experts, during which the reviewers may request revisions from the author. In the event of conflicting evaluations, a third reviewer may be consulted to resolve the issue. The review process will utilize Grecorromana’s “Evaluation Guidelines,” which assess both formal aspects (title, abstract, keywords, length, writing, and formatting) and substantive aspects (relevance, contribution and originality, research question and hypothesis, use of primary sources, bibliography, theoretical and methodological framework).

The outcomes of the evaluation process may be: 1. acceptance in its original form or with minor revisions; 2. acceptance with major revisions; 3. rejection.

The final decision on publication rests with the editorial committee, based on the reviewers’ reports.

Grecorromana publishes articles resulting from research, translations, documentary sources, and book reviews. Additionally, the journal publishes contributions in the form of a Dossier, which must be proposed through a coordinator and include a minimum of three research articles.

Grecorromana accepts contributions in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and English.
