This article discusses silence in the CH and is part of a line of scientific literature on patient disorders and, more specifically, on disorders of phonation and physician silence. Basically, I’m trying to show that there are two perspectives on this subject: one has to do with doctor-patient confidentiality, the other with the patient who is sometimes unable to speak. There are two points of view on this: one is related to doctor-patient confidentiality, the other with that of the patient who is sometimes unable to speak. The conclusions determine that the various meanings of the term silence allow us to understand that it is a complex phenomenon in the CH treaties.
